In the Acts of the Apostles, we read that the early disciples came together to share everything they had. Jesus told His disciples that it is by their love for one another that the world will know that they are His disciples (John 13:34-35).
It is in this spirit that the Methodist Co-operative Society Ltd was established in 1995.
“All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.”
